Code of Conduct

This code aims to provide a safe, respectful training environment for everyone. It applies to learners, instructors and visitors, in classrooms and on virtual platforms.

What we expect

• Mutual respect and professional conduct, keeping to schedules and safety instructions.
• Constructive participation that gives others a chance to contribute, and keeping shared work cases confidential.

Unacceptable behaviour

• Any form of discrimination or verbal or physical abuse.
• Harassment in any form; it is taken seriously and handled in line with the Kingdom's Anti-Harassment Law.
• Recording sessions or filming participants without permission.
• Attending under the influence of prohibitive substances, or disrupting the venue's rules.
• Using course content — especially cybersecurity techniques — for unlawful purposes or in unauthorised environments.

Use of technical content

Testing and penetration techniques are taught for defensive and educational purposes only, and applied strictly to systems you own or have written permission to test. Any other use is the individual's own legal responsibility.

Reporting

Any breach can be reported to the instructor or to the quality coordinator through the website contact form. Reports are treated confidentially, with no detriment to anyone reporting in good faith.

Action on a breach

Depending on severity: a verbal caution, then a written warning, then removal from the course without a refund, with the Institute's right to inform the employer or the competent authorities where there is a legal violation. The learner may appeal under the Appeals Policy.
